Fort Wayne, IN - The Lawrence Technological University men's cross country team finished up their season at the WHAC Championships when the team took fifth place out of 11 teams. The teams' total score was 179 with an average pace of 27:40.
Men's All-Conference Second Team runner, Conner Uppleger was the top runner for LTU this weekend when he ran the 8k at a time of 25:58 coming in 12th place overall.
In 35th place, his teammate Nolan McGahan crossed the finish line with a time of 27:15. Just a couple of seconds later, Hunter Assenmacher competed in his race with a time of 27:30 finishing in 41st place.
Evan Wheeler was able to sprint through the finish line with a final time of 28:12 coming in 58th overall.
Some other names for the LTU runners were Gavin Weber who had a time of 29:24, Noah Rodriguez 29:32, Tyler DeHaan 30:05, Nathan Alton 30:39, Xavier Hopkins 31:18, and David Yoskovich 40:32.
There was a total of 127 runners in the 8K race.
