Men's Bowling Takes 3rd Overall at WHAC Championships

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich.- The men's bowling team headed to the east side of Metro Detroit for the WHAC Championships hosted by Lawrence Tech Saturday. The results were a 3rd place finish for the Men's bowling team that took home the regular-season Championship for the WHAC this season.

The Blue Devils, during baker play, finished 3rd overall with a total pinfall at 3,378 and were 332 pins back from Indiana Tech, who had a total pinfall of 3,710. In Baker 1, the Blue Devils finished with a total pinfall of 879, in Baker 2 a total pinfall of 871, in Baker 3 a total pinfall of 814, and in the final Baker game, 814 for the total pinfall.

In the WHAC tournament's semi-finals, the Blue Devils faced Concordia losing in the best 3 out of 5 matches, with Concordia sweeping them in 3 games. Concordia had a total pinfall of 661 while Lawrence Tech had a total pinfall of 637, putting them back 24 pins.

Looking ahead, the Blue Devils will head to Toledo, Ohio, on March 13th for the BGSU Falcon Classic first bowl is set for 8:30 am.
