STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. — The Lawrence Tech University Men's Team produced another strong outing on Saturday, December 6, finishing 2nd out of 12 teams at WHAC #3, the Michigan Open, hosted by the Blue Devils at 5 Star Lanes.
The Blue Devils totaled 6,273 pins, only 94 pins behind Indiana Tech's winning score of 6,367, and averaged 202.35 across three team games and four Baker rounds.
LTU was dominant at the Individual Level, placing five bowlers in the Top 13. Freshman
Michael Martins earned 1st place overall in the tournament with a 725 series (264–237–224), and Sophomore
KC Campbell
followed with a 664 (225–217–222), finishing 8th. Additional top performances came from Junior
Ayden Davis (10th, 654 series), Freshman
Quinton Cayko (11th, 663) and Senior
Benjamin Augustitus (13th, 652).
In the JV division, the LTU JV squad earned 2nd place overall, finishing just behind Indiana Tech JV #1
Next up: Roto Grip Keystone Quaker (Tier 1) on December 19 and 20 in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
