TOLEDO, Ohio- Men's bowling hit the road to Toledo, Ohio, to compete in the AHBA Conference Championships. The result was a first-place finish for the Blue Devils, who ended Sunday with a total pinfall of 6,383, beating out Concordia University Ann Arbor, who had a total pinfall of 6,337. The men's JV team took home first place also with a total pinfall of 5,998, beating out Trine University who had a total pinfall of 5,525.
The top bowler came from the JV team as Jarin Kurashige took home second place overall for the Blue Devils with a total pinfall of 726 with an average of 242. The top varsity bowlers for the Blue Devils were Jacob Kujawa, who took home tenth overall, with a total pinfall of 675 with an average of 225. Michael Weber took home eleventh overall, with a total pinfall of 665 and an average of 221.7.
Looking ahead, the Blue Devils will prepare for the ITC Sectional Qualifiers hosted in either Smyrna, Tennessee, or Addison, Illinois.
