Findlay, OH - The Lawrence Technological University cross country teams competed in the 2021 Findlay Invitational on Friday morning. Out of 10 teams in the meet the LTU men finished in 6th place, while the women also finished in 6th out of nine.
In the men's race, Nolan McGahan was able to earn a top 20 finish where he ended up in 17th place with a final time of 26:33. The next Blue Devil to finish behind him was Conner Uppleger finishing in 39th place with a time of 27:22. Evan Wheeler was the next LTU runner to cross the finish line with a time of 28:41 coming in 67th place out of 108 runners.
Some other notable runners were Gavin Weber (28:58), Tyler DeHaan (29:29), and Nathan Alton (30:50),
In the women's race, Darbey Johnson earned herself back-to-back top 10 finishes coming in 8th place again with a final time of 23:40. Kaitlin Pickart was next to finish for LTU coming in 19th place with a final time of 24:34. Jackie Albo finished this race in 42nd place with a time of 26:31. The women had a total of 71 runners.
Some other notable runners were Erin McCardell (27:04), and Michelle Meister (29:37).
The men and women's next cross country match is Saturday, October 2nd as they will travel to Louisville, KY to compete in The University of Louisville Classic. This event will start at 8 AM.
