Wauwatosa, WI - The Lawrence Technological University men's bowling team competed in the Midwest Collegiate Championships (Tier 1) over the weekend. After completing day one in sixth overall place, the Blue Devils would have a huge day Sunday as they would go on to win their first ever Tier 1 tournament.
- The team would enter bracket play as the fifth seed with a score of 9720
- In the quarterfinals LTU was matched up against the four seed Mckendree.
- The Blue Devils would advance to the semifinals
- LTU would then go on to beat conference opponent Indiana Tech to advance to the final round
- The Blue Devils faced second seeded Calumet, LTU would beat Calumet to win the Midwest Championships Tier 1
Men's Bowling will compete in the WHAC 1 in Sterling Heights, MI on Saturday, October 8th at 5 Star Lanes
