School Records Shed at SVSU

University Center, Mich. – The Lawrence Technological University Blue Devils men's track and field team participated in the Saginaw Valley State University Holiday Open this past weekend.

Griffin Armbrustmacher took first in the 3000m, setting a new school record time of 8:37.26.
Hunter Assenmacher took fourth in the 3000m, setting a personal best of 8:50.21. Freshmen Luke Droz, Chase Deitrich, and Sebastian Tarhanich finished with times of 8:51.69, 9:06.08, and 10:08.92 respectively.

In the 400m, freshman Jordan Johnson finished with a school-record time of 49.88, taking second in the event. Ian Suber (4th, 50.70), Kenneth Sprout (53.75), and William Shall (55.80) also participated in the event.

In the 200m, Suber set a school mark with a time of 22.75, good for a fourth place finish

Noah Blandino's 2:02.15 was good enough for a sixth-place finish in the Men's 800m.

The foursome of Logan Fadool, Sprout, Johnson, and Jack Brass finished fourth in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:32.89.

In the 600m, Fadool (1:28.04) and Brass (1:34.38) placed fourth and sixth, respectively

Ben Dawson and Evan Wheeler participated in the 1mi, finishing with times of 4:45.12 and 4:48.12.

Their next meet is on January 13 in Columbus, Ohio
