Blue Devils Travelled To Ohio To Compete In The Tiffin Alumni Open

TIFFIN, OH. - Lawrence Tech Indoor Track and Field competed this past Saturday, December 13, 2025, in Tiffin, Ohio at the Heminger Center at the Tiffin Alumni Open. It was a highly competitive weekend for the Blue Devils focused mainly on field-events. The Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field team ended the weekend with 4 new school records, 13 personal records set, and an event win.

Jayde Ullenbruch won the long jump for the Women's Indoor Track and Field with a jump of 17'11" (5.48 meters). Her jump broke the school record and gained her second place in the WHAC. Adrian Smith Jr. broke the school record for long jump for the Men's Indoor Track and Field with a jump of 21'8" (6.68 meters). Mason Smith also broke a school record in high jump with a high jump of 5'10" (1.78 meters). Isabella DeLong broke the school record in weight throw with a throw of 14.24 meters.

Martina Montserrat-Vilar made her collegiate debut in the long jump at the Tiffin Alumni Open clearing over 17 feet helping her move to fifth in the conference.

Their next meet will be Friday January 16, 2025 in Mount Pleasant at the CMU Jack Skoog Open taking place at the Jack Skoog Indoor Track.
