Sylvania, Ohio – The Lawrence Technological University men's volleyball team lost in straight sets on the road to the #10 Lourdes University Gray Wolves on Tuesday evening (21-25, 19-25, 17-25).
First Set:
- Lourdes service error puts LTU up 8-6 early on
- Back-to-back kills by Connor Cooper and Jeffry Fuhrmann cut the deficit to one at 20-19
- Lourdes wins the next three points, 23-19, on way to taking the opening set 25-21
Second Set:
- Simon Phillip finds Felix Perez to pull LTU within two at 15-13
- Six kills by the Gray Wolves help them open up a five-point advantage at 22-17
- Zach Narkiewicz halts the Lourdes momentum, 23-19, but its short lived as LTU falls 25-19
Third Set:
- Fuhrmann's finish makes it a two-point affair at 9-7 Lourdes
- Gray Wolves take 10-of-16 points to extend the margin to six, 19-13
- Phillip feeds Fuhrmann to stop the run but LTU fails to register a kill the rest of the way, falling 25-17
