St. Louis, Mo. - The #8 Lawrence Technological University Blue Devils D-III men's hockey team took on the Michigan Wolverines.
The Wolverines came away 5-1 winners
How It Happened:
- Jake Stewart set up Daniel Colon to give the Wolverines an early 1-0 lead
- Andrew Beggs put one past the crease, doubling the Wolverines' lead. Will Robinson and Trevor Kalis were credited with an assist
- The Wolverines led 2-0 at the first intermission
- Mason Beaker finds Michael Strouse to tack on a third goal to the lead
- Logan Gare would find the back of the net to give Michigan a 4-0 cushion Beggs and Jamie Newton with the helpers
- Robinson sets up Kalis for another goal, giving the Wolverines a commanding 5-0 lead
- U-M led 5-0 after two periods
- Collin Clark puts the Blue Devils on the board, Connor Juhasz and Blayne Young were credited with assists.
- Lawrence Tech drops this one 5-1.
The Blue Devils will take on Trine University on Friday, March 11 at 12:45 pm ET/11:45 am CT.
