Indianapolis, IN - The #5 Lawrence Technological women's bowling team competed at the Hoosier Classic (Tier 1) over the weekend. The women took 13th place out of 65 teams. The Blue Devils finished with an overall score of 8203. The overall score for the baker bowls was 2596.

The top LTU bowler on the weekend was Laurin Prebelich bowling an overall score of 1204 finishing inside the top 25. Prebelich bowled scores of 182, 213, 199, 229, 180, and 201 for an average bowl of 201.67.

In 27th place was teammate Victoria Giardina recording scores of 209, 192, 177, 246, 155, and 211. Giardina's average bowl per game was 198.33 with a total score of 1190

Rachel Iha finished with an average bowl of 183.66. Iha's bowls were scores of 174, 201, 191, 191, 169, and 176. Her overall score was 1102.

Ending with a total score of 1074 was Sydney Clark who averaged 179 per bowl on the weekend.

Another LTU bowler was Bailey Gipson who finished with a total score of 1037. 

There was a total of 479 bowlers for the women.

The next Blue Devils bowling event is on Saturday, February 26th when they compete for the WHAC Conference Championship. This event will begin at 10 AM.
