STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. — The Lawrence Tech University women's bowling team delivered a great performance at the 2025 Brunswick Midwest Collegiate Championships, advancing to the Final Four after an impressive weekend at 5 Star Lanes.
The Blue Devils rolled 7,591 total pins over 41 games, earning 6th place out of 42 teams in qualifying before fighting through match play to reach the semifinals. LTU opened the Elite Eight with a commanding 225–167 victory over Aquinas, before narrowly falling to Cumberland University 215–165–180 vs. 180–182–183 in the Final Four.
Juniors
Brooke Kochel (Murphysboro, Ill./Carbondale Community HS) and
Kaelynn Weber (Tonawanda, N.Y./Niagara University) led the Blue Devils individually, each tying for 6th overall with 1,006 total pins (201 average) in the singles standings.
Under Head Coach Jon Putti, the Blue Devils continue to build momentum early in the season with a Final Four appearance against a competitive national field. Lawrence Tech returns to action
October 25 at the AHBA #1 tournament.
