Southfield, Mich. – The #10 Lawrence Technological University men's lacrosse team cruised by Cleary, dominating the Cougars 25-1 in a Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference game on Saturday afternoon.
How It Happened:
- Weston Hauff scored just over two minutes into the game before goals from Grady Holmes and Clayton Hauff gave LTU a 3-0 edge after 15 minutes.
- Maveric Muscat found the back of the net three times in the second quarter as the Blue Devils scored nine times to carry a 12-0 lead into halftime.
- An unassisted marker by Eli Lozinski continued the scoring in the third, three minutes in before goals my Holmes and Nick Soukup gave LTU a 15-0 advantage heading to the fourth quarter.
- Holmes found Lozinski on the man-up opportunity for the hat trick to begin the fourth.
- C. Hauff, Holmes and Soukup each tallied two goals in a 10-goal quarter for LTU to close out the 25-1 victory.
Inside the Numbers:
- Holmes led the LTU attack with 11 points (6g, 5a)
- Lozinski added nine points (3g, 6a) while Muscat recorded eight (3g, 5a)
- C. Hauff netted four markers for LTU
- LTU outshot Cleary 68-14
- The Blue Devils were successful on 18-of-20 clears
- LTU won 24-of-30 faceoffs (83.3%) as Trevor Maitland was 13-of-16 and TJ Kaminski was 11-of-14 in the circle
