DEERFIELD, Ill. - The Lawrence Technological University Blue Devils Women's Soccer team traveled to take on the Trinity International Trojans in a Saturday holiday matinee.
The first half went relatively quietly, despite the Blue Devils spending a good portion of the half in their offensive zone. The Blue Devils took eleven shots, with seven of them on net. Meanwhile, the Trojans only got three shots in the first half with two on target. However, no shots for either team reached the back of the net.
The Blue Devils stayed aggressive in the second half, taking 14 shots, with six on target, but to no avail.
Sydney Schnurstein was goal for LTU, recording three saves and a clean sheet.
The Blue Devils (1-1-1) continue on the road to take on the Judson Eagles for a Labor Day 1pm matinee.
