ELGIN, Ill. - The Lawrence Technological University Blue Devils women's soccer team took the road to square off against a Judson University Eagles team that is receiving votes. The matchup ended with the Blue Devils taking a 3-1 defeat, their second of the season.
Alondra Blanco got the scoring started for Judson with a goal in the 14th minute.
Blacno added her second goal in the 30th minute.
Early in the second half, Josett Perez scored, giving the Eagles a 3-0 lead in the 50th minute.
Abigail Gray put the Blue Devils on the board off a pass from Lindsay Ramos, bringing LTU within two goals.
The Blue Devils were out shot 18-15, but both teams took five shots on net.
The Lawrence Tech women's soccer team looks to avenge this loss on Wednesday, September 21th at home against Taylor University at 7 pm.
