WOMEN'S BOWLING TAKES HOME 7TH AT KEGAL MIDWEST COLLEGIATE CLASSIC
ADDISON, ILL.- The Lawrence Technological University Women's Bowling program headed west this past weekend to compete in the annual KEGAL IBSPA Midwest Collegiate Classic, taking home 7th place. The Blue Devils took on the likes of numerous nationally ranked teams, including defending National Champions SCAD-Savannah. The total pinfall for the Blue Devils as a team over the weekend was 8540, with Rachel Iha taking home 42nd overall individually with a total pinfall of 970.Â

Day one for the Blue Devils saw them take 13th overall with a total team pinfall of 4634 on the day. Day two saw the Blue Devils with a team total pinfall of 3906, putting them in 5th overall at one point. Mackenzie Zakaria, Leah Williams, Allison Clark, Carly Dlugos, Caroline Holowenko, Evie Roen, Sydney Clark, and Rachel Iha competed for the Blue Devils over the weekend. Zakaria and Williams accounted for a 327 score with two games, while Clark accounted for a 549, and Holowenko accounted for a 539 each after three games. Meanwhile, Dlugos (708), Roen (747), S. Clark (794), and Iha (970) all accounted for 4 games for the Blue Devils. Rachel Iha led all Blue Devils with a final score of 970 overall. Iha averaged 194 on the weekend, shooting 188, 195, 172, 233, and 182.Â
