Avante Mitchell is 11-18 in his fourth season as the Blue Devils head coach. He first came to LTU in 2019 as the team's defensive coordinator. He also has collegiate coaching experience at Concordia-Ann Arbor, Taylor and NCAA Division II Northwood.

CJ Davidson Tops 1,000 Career Rushing Yards: The redshirt senior out of Pontiac (Walled Lake Central High School) became the Blue Devils all-time rushing king in the season opener, surpassing previous recordholder Tanner Foley's 642 yards from 2018-19. Davidson, who is a 2022 All-MSFA Mideast Second Team pick, currently has 1039 yards to extend his benchmark after notching 99 on the ground against Concordia (Michigan).
Split the Uprights: Sophomore
Vincent Robison is the only MSFA kicker who has not missed a point-after or field goal attempt with a minimum of 10 tries. He is 13-for-13 with four field goals and nine PATs.

Company on the Receiving Corp: The Blue Devils have another top receiver in
Jalen Wallace, who tops the team in receptions (24), yards (333), average/catch (13.88 yards; minimum 10) and average per game (55.5 yards). In his 22-game career, the junior has 83 receptions, 1006 yards and five TDs, becoming the fourth LTU receiver to eclipse 1,000 yards.
2023 Awards: Sophomore punter
Carter Dixon earned his first
MSFA Special Teams Player of the Week award on Sept. 25. He booted the longest punt--70 yards and one shy of the school record--in the MSFA this season on Sept. 16 versus St. Francis (Illinois).
Balance on Defense: Lawrence Tech boasts four student-athletes with at least 30 total tackles, including redshirt senior secondary
Andrew Perkins III (28+21=49), redshirt junior linebacker
Matt Plaga (15+22=37), redshirt sophomore linebacker
Brody Snyder (11+19=30) and junior defensive lineman
Michael White (7+23=30). Plaga also has forced two fumbles, recovered a fumble, intercepted a pass and broken up another.
