CANTON, Mich.--The Lawrence Tech men's bowling team captured the American Heartland Bowling Association 1 event on Saturday at Super Bowl Lanes. The Blue Devils toppled 7,926 pins to outdistance themselves from the 20-school field that included runner-up Huntington University (7422). In addition, senior
Noah Samuels gave LTU the sweep with the individual crown with an 1189 score.
Classmate
Jervon Webster registered 1082 pins for fourth place to give the Blue Devils the only school with a pair of top-5 showings. The individual field had 129 bowlers.
The Blue Devils claimed the Rochester Warriors Classic on Sept. 30, which vaulted them to No. 1 in the national rankings for a couple weeks.
Lawrence Tech has a quick turnaround competing in the AHBA 2 event tomorrow.
