Box Score FORT WAYNE, Ind.— Host Indiana Tech scored two power play goals less than five minutes apart in the second period to key a 3-1 come-from-behind victory Saturday over Lawrence Tech in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference men's hockey action at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. It was a battle of nationally-ranked American Collegiate Hockey Association Top-25 powers as the No. 12 Warriors improve to 9-2 overall and 6-0 in the WHAC and No. 24 Blue Devils fall to 4-6 on the season and 4-4 in the conference.
With 6 minutes and 29 seconds left in the second period, Malik Ali tied the game on a feed from Avery Smith to knot the score at 1-1 and Francesco Santaniello also found the back of the net on an Indiana Tech power play opportunity to put the Warriors ahead for good with 1:57 remaining.
Jacob Holston gave LTU a 1-0 lead at the 6:07 mark of the first period on assists from
Liam Bland and
Joey Mattevi.
Indiana Tech got an insurance goal from Santaniello's second marker of the afternoon at 5:42 of the third period.
The Warriors were 2-for-4 with the man-advantage, while the Blue Devils were 0-for-4. Lawrence Tech goalie

Lawrence Tech faces Aquinas in another WHAC home-and-home series next weekend. On Friday, Nov. 3, the teams will be at LTU's Farmington Hills Ice Arena for an 8 p.m. opening puckdrop. On Saturday, Nov. 4, the teams will be at AQ's Southside Ice Arena in Byron Center for a 7:30 p.m. start.
