New Kensington, Pa. -- The Lawrence Technological Blue Devils women's hockey team took on the United States Naval Academy to close out the weekend showcase. Navy jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period, a lead just enough to scrape past the Blue Devils, ultimately winning 4-3.
Navy put up a three-spot in the first period, but that did not demoralize LTU.

Sydney Lochow with less than 3 minutes left in the second period, to cut the deficit to 3-1.
Sophia Buckberger added to her point streak, putting one behind the crease with less than 40 second left in the second, storming back, 3-2.
Navy added a goal in the waning moments of the second to reclaim a two goal lead.
Early in the third period,
Theresa DiMaggio finds Bebus in the third to bring the Blue Devils within one, but they would not get the chance for the equalizer.
The Blue Devils (5-3) return home for two against West Virginia University on Friday at 8pm and Saturday at 5pm.
