WHAC Announces All-Conference Awards

Livonia, Mich. – The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced their end of year men's soccer awards with several members of the Lawrence Tech team selected to All-Conference status.

Two members of the team were selected as first team members. Senior Skander Larfaoui made first team list after being named one of four forwards on the first team. He finished with 32 points including 14 goals and 4 assists. Senior Kieran Malachino made his appearance after earning a spot as a goalkeeper on the first team. Malachino played and started in 17 games for the Blue Devils this season, recording 8 shutouts. He recorded 68 saves within those 17 games. Both first team members helping LTU be successful this season. 

Senior Reece Still was selected as a second team member after being named one out of four defenders. On the offensive side of the ball Still finished the season fourth on the team with nine points including one goal and seven assists.  

Freshmen Pedro Roses made the All-Newcomer Team list along with 10 other newcomers. He helped create offense for the Blue Devils with five points including two goals and 1 assist. 

One coach out of the WHAC gets chosen for the Champions of Character Coach Award. The recipient of this award best represents the five core character values: integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship and servant leadership in a coach. This year, head coach Will Dyer was chosen for the award. Dyer has shown excellence in all five of these core characteristics, which lead to him winning this award.
