Runner-Up Noah Samuels Paces Men's Bowling at Roto Grip Keystone Quaker Classic

The Blue Devils rolled 9292 pins to take third place out of 29 teams

ALLENTOWN, Pa.--The nationally-ranked Lawrence Tech men's bowling team knocked down 9,292 total pins to finish in third place out of 29 schools at the two-day Roto Grip Keystone Quaker Classic, an United States Bowling Congress Tier 1 event that concluded Tuesday at Haja Rose Bowl.

The 9,292 pins are the most by the Blue Devils this season since the Oct. 7-8 Midwest Collegiate Championships where they rolled a 9,390.

Today, LTU was led by senior Noah Samuels who was the runner-up out of 206 individuals with 1140 pins, or a 228 average over five games. He bowled a 278 in Game 4 to lead all student-athletes. Samuels was supported by sophomore Cayleb Carey who bowled a 193.8 average (969 total) for 42nd place and senior Jarin Kurashige who had a 225.3 average and 901 total (despite missing the first game) for 61st place.

Next up, the Blue Devils remain in the Keystone State to compete at the Lehigh Valley Collegiate Classic (Tier 1) in Whitehall at Jordan Lanes on Wednesday (9:30 a.m.) and Thursday (8:30 a.m.).
