GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Lawrence Technological University Blue Devils men's track and field team participated in the Grand Rapids Hall of Fame Classic this past weekend.
In the men's 1000m, the Blue Devils took the whole podium, with
Griffin Armbrustmacher (2:34.00), Luke Droz (2:34.64), and
Hunter Assenmacher (2:34.88) finishing first, second, and third respectively.
Ben Dawson (2:45.40) also participated.
Ian Suber had a good day on the track, winning the men's 200m (22.67) and placing second in the 400m (50.72).
Jordan Johnson also took on those respective races, placing 5th (23.47) and third (50.95) respectively.
Jack Brass also had top-10 finishes in both events, taking 9th (24.75) and 8th (55.76).
The 4 x 800m relay had the LTU team of Droz, Armbrustmacher,
Noah Blandino and Assenmacher finish second with a time of 8:03.35.
Men's 3000m saw Sebastian Tarhanich (9:34.64) and
Evan Wheeler (9:38.72) finish in the top 5.
The Blue Devils return to action on Feb 9 when they head to Defiance, Ohio for the Dick Small Invitational.
