Crown Point, Ind. - The Lawrence Technological University women's soccer team came back to draw 2-2 in their season opener at Indiana Northwestern University.
The Junior keeper, Sydney Schnurstein made the start in goal for the Blue Devils. Schnurstein made multiple saves, taking 13 shots and only letting two past her.
The scoring started with a goal from the Red Wolves at the 14:18 mark in the first half. Followed by another goal from the Red Wolves at the 44:45 mark. The Blue Devils head into the second half down by two.
The Blue Devils turned up the heat at the 70:55 mark when sophomore Reagan Boyle took a shot on net that went right past the Red Wolves keeper, with the help of Neala Wilson to get the assist. With four minutes remaining in the game, sophomore Abigail Gray tied the game up to bring the Blue Devils come back into a draw against the Red Wolves in their season opener.
The Blue Devils women's soccer team travels to Palos Heights, Illinois to take on Trinity Christian College at 2pm tomorrow, August 26th.
