Men's Bowling Keeps Rolling with Sweep at Rochester Warriors Classic

The champion Blue Devils had 7670 pins while medalist Jarin Kurashige had 929

FLINT, Mich.--The Lawrence Tech men's bowling team captured the 2023 Warrior Classic on Saturday after knocking over 7,670 pins, and Jarin Kurashige made it a sweep with medalist honors with a 929 score. The 13-team event was hosted by Rochester University here at Richfield Bowl. 

In addition to Kurashige, five Blue Devils occupied the top-15 spots including Connor Nowak (5th, 891), Noah Samuels (8th, 857), Jervon Webster (9th, Lawrence Tech JV-2, 838) and Cayleb Carey (14th, 821). Webster helped LTU JV-2 beat nine other teams to win the men's junior varsity division with 7040.

Lawrence Tech hits the lanes again on Oct. 7-8 when they travel to Wauwatosa, Wis. (Bowlero Wauwatosa), for the Midwest Collegiate Championships.
