SAULT STE. MARIE, ONTARIO -- The Lawrence Technological University Blue Devils women's hockey took on the Dakota College at Bottineau. The Blue Devils took a 1-0 lead in the second period, but ultimately dropped the game 4-1.
The scoring started with
Theresa DiMaggio dishing to
Sydney Lochow for a shorthanded goal early in the second period.
The Jacks would find the net at the tail end of the second period to tie the game at 1 heading into the second intermission.
Dakota College went on to score a goal in the first minute of the third period, and would not look back--tacking on an insurance goal midway through the period and then an empty-netter to close out the game.
Rachel Hart stopped 41 of 44 shots.
The Blue Devils (12-7) continue their Ontario road trip tomorrow at noon when they battle against Assiniboine Community College
