Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils Strike Victory at AHBA #1 & #2

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - In an impressive show of skill and teamwork, the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils bowling team clinched first place in both the AHBA #1 and AHBA #2 events held in Canton, MI, over the weekend. Lawrence Tech placed first out of fifteen teams on day one of competition and first out of seventeen teams on day two.

Lawrence Tech had an incredible first day of competition, finishing with an overall score of 6,533 total pins to secure the number one spot on Saturday. They then turned around and scored an overall 5,985 on Sunday to maintain their dominance and the top spot for both events over the weekend.

The Blue Devils were led by senior Michael Weber, who finished with 1,407 total pins on day one of the competition, along with sophomore Ayden Davis, who finished with a total of 1,372 pins on day one after five games, placing second and third overall in individual competition.

Junior Cayleb Carey led the way on day two, finishing with a total of 866 pins in four games including a 300 score in game two and placing third overall in individual competition. Sophomore Ayden Davis was the most productive member for the Blue Devils, finishing with another 825 pins on day two, bringing his weekend total to 2,197 pins and an average of 219.7 pins per game as he led Lawrence Tech to back-to-back first-place finishes in tournament play.
