REDFORD, Mich. - Game 1 (11/22) - In a thrilling MCHC conference game held at Redford Ice Arena on November 22, 2024, the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils secured a narrow victory over the Adrian College Bulldogs with a final score of 2-1. This intense encounter saw both teams locked in a tough battle, pushing their limits to claim the win.

The game started off with a tense first period where neither team managed to break the deadlock, keeping the score at 0-0. The competition heated up in the second period, with both teams finally finding the back of the net. Adrian College struck first, but Lawrence Tech quickly responded with a goal of their own, thanks to a combined effort from Luke Radu who scored the goal and Sawyer Walker who was the only assist on the goal. 

The decisive moment came in the third period when Lawrence Tech, who had already scored in the second period, came through again to score the game-winning goal on the power play with Gavin Holmes being the hero and finding a way past the Adrian goalie. Assists on the game winner went to Logan Barnes and Trevor Losier. This goal not only highlighted the team's offensive capabilities but also clinched the victory for the Blue Devils. Timothy Young had a strong game in between the pipes, saving 16 of 17 shots against him.

ADRIAN, Mich. - Game 2 (11/24) - Despite a close first matchup against Adrian on Saturday, the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils secured a resounding 13-2 victory over the Adrian College Bulldogs on November 24, 2024, at Arrington Ice Arena. This triumph extends the Blue Devils' dynamic season record to an impressive 13-0-1, underscoring their dominance in the sport.

The Blue Devils opened the scoring frenzy early, ending the first period with a robust 6-1 lead. Highlights included goals from Matt Schulte and Gavin Holmes, establishing a pace Adrian struggled to match. The momentum continued into the second period with the score reaching an overwhelming 9-2. The final period saw continued dominance from Lawrence Tech as Luke Radu, Caleb Doll (who notably scored the game-winning goal), Holmes, and Schulte all found the back of the net, bringing the final tally to 13-2. 

Alex Grove (3A), Gavin Holmes (2G, 2A), Luke Radu (1G, 2A), and Will Jentz (1G, 3A) all had notable performances with 3 or more points in the matchup. Blue Devils' goalies, Griffin Foster and Noah Miklos, were pivotal in defending the net, limiting Adrian to just two goals across the game.
