LYNCHBURG, Va. -- The Lawrence Technological University women's hockey team continued on their three-game east coast trip, facing Liberty. The teams drew on Friday, 3-3 following a Blue Devils comeback.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Liberty scored midway through the first period, taking a 1-0 lead into 1st intermission
- No goals were scored in the second period, despite 20 shots on goal (12 for Liberty, 8 from LTU)
- Kate Walholf scored an empty-netter in the waning moments to ice the game for the Flames, 2-0
GAME NOTES:
- Goalie Rachel Hart recorded 29 saves on 30 shots.
- The Blue Devils were shut out for fifth time this season (fourth on the road).
