ANN ARBOR, MICH. -- The Lawrence Technological University women's track and field team had one honoree from the conference this week
Hanna Assenmacher (Sophomore; Ida, Mich.) performed well this week, and she was recognized by the conference as the Women's Track Athlete of the week.
Assenmacher ran two races this weekend, the 3000m steeplechase (Michigan State Spartan Invitational) and the 1500m (Spring Arbor Cougar Invitational). In these races, she finished no lower than second. The 3000m Steeplechase, Assenmacher set a school record, along with nationally qualifying, and winning the race at 11:17.25. The 1500m she finished second, only to her teammate Jackie Albo, with a time of 5:00.07,
