SOUTHFIELD, Mich - The Lawrence Tech women's soccer team hosted No. 14 SCAD-Savannah, falling 5-3. The Blue Devils record is 0-2 overall, while the Bees are 2-1.

Gabi Nelson started the game for the Blue Devils. Nelson taking 13 shots from the Bees, saving eight shots.
Just about 7 minutes into the game, SCAD scored and two minutes extended their lead to two. SCAD scored one more goal before the first half ended, as the Blue Devils headed into the second half down 3-0. Lawrence Tech came out firing, looking for a comeback into this game, with the start of Junior

Hinana Takashima scored making the score 3-2 with the assist from Pagett. SCAD responded real quickly as they put two back to back goals on the board, killing the Blue Devils comeback attempt. The Blue Devils didn't give up just yet as Takashima was able to score her second goal of the game.
The Blue Devils will head out to Alboin College on Friday for a 7pm kickoff.
