ALBION, Mich - The Lawrence Tech women's soccer team hit the road to Albion for their first road game of the year, with the Blue Devils getting their first victory of their season 3-1. The Blue Devils record is 1-2 overall, while the Brits are 0-1.

Gabi Nelson started the game for the Blue Devils. Nelson taking 1 shot from the Brits, saving that one shot. Senior keeper
Sydney Schnurstein came in the second half to finish the game.
The Blue Devils capitlized early with junior
Bridget Finneran at the 20th minute with the assist from sophomore
Hannah Pagett. Lawrence Tech kept the intensity going as senior
Jaiden Konrad extended the Blue Devils lead with the assist of sophomore
Hinana Takashima just 10 minutes later. The Blue Devils headed into the second half with the 2-0 lead. The Brits cut the Blue Devils lead down to 1 but the Blue Devils struck right back with senior
Andrea Williams and the help of senior
Maliea May.
"Tonight saw a very important first win of the season for us. We dominated possession, created multiple opportunities on goal, and reacted really well to Albion's goal by scoring another for ourselves within a minute. We will aim to be more clinical in front of goal, and comfortable on the ball, as we move through the season" says head coach
Andy Richards.
The Blue Devils are back in action on home turf Friday for a 3pm kickoff.
