MOON TOWNSHIP, Penn.-- The Lawrence Tech women's hockey team hit continued their road trip to Robert Morris, falling in a close battle in overtime. The Blue Devils are now 2-2-1 overall, while the Colonials are 1-0 overall.

The Colonials opened up the scoring at the 4:38 minute mark and extended their lead with 1 minute and 14 seconds left in the first period. The Blue Devils headed into the second period down 2-0.
The Blue Devils attempted their comeback at the 12:06 minute mark with a goal from senior
Athena Chapman, making the score 2-1. The Blue Devils tied up the game at the 8:02 minute mark with a bomb of a shot from junior defenseman
Katelyn Moreland from the blue line. The Blue Devils headed into the third period in a 2-2 tie.
The Colonials broke the tie with just 4 minutes and 41 seconds left in the third period. The Blue Devils not giving up, responded with a goal from freshman
Alexis Zielinski.
The Colonials scored very quickly, just 15 seconds into overtime, defeating the Blue Devils.
The Blue Devils will be back in action for a rematch with Robert Morris Sunday for a 3:45pm puck drop.
