Marion, Ind. - The Blue Devils Womens Cross Country team finished outside of the top 20 at the IWU Twilight Invitation today. Out of 23 schools, the Blue Devils did not place in the top 20, therefore not receiving a team score.
Senior Hannah Assenmacher led the way for the Blue Devils, finishing in 53rd out of 213 individual runners with a total time of 24 minutes and 44 seconds. Following her was sophomore Mattie Armstrong (145th, 27:13), junior
Molly Kline (172nd, 28:24), and freshman
Caleigh Bovensiep (194th, 29:51).
The Blue Devils will look to improve on this performance when they are back in action on the 14th of September at the Bentley Bison Invite.
With only 4 runners competing, the team did not have an official average time or total time.
