Womens Cross Country Sees 10th Place Finish in Louisville Classic

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The womens cross country team competed in the Louisville Classic in Kentucky, finishing in 10th place of 23 competing schools. 

The Blue Devils saw their runners compete in a tight field. The Blue Devils were led by Clara Mackey, who was their top finisher, placing 13th overall with a time of 19:49.4. The remaining scoring runners followed with a gap, led by Mattie Armstrong (20:56.3, 55th) and Jamie Carr (21:00.7, 63rd). LTU's later finishers included Edan Brewer (22:57.1), Emily Sell (23:01.4), and Caleigh Bovensiep (23:49.2). Addison Cooke (24:16.4) rounded out the LTU competitors in the race.

The Blue Devils will look to build on this performance in their next meet on October 18th in Oberlin, Ohio.
