Blue Devils Swept in Close Contests Against CMU

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. - The  Blue Devils faced Central Michigan University in a two-game women's hockey series on November 7-8, 2025, falling in both contests. The series began on Friday, November 7, with a tight 1-0 loss at home in Farmington Hills, where Central Michigan scored the game's lone goal on a second-period power play. Lawrence Tech went 0 for 3 on the power play in the opener.

The series concluded with a 4-2 defeat on Saturday, November 8, at Central Michigan. Lawrence Tech took the lead early in the first period with a goal from Sohpia Buckberger, assisted by Katelyn Moreland and Kalina Pernod. Central Michigan then scored three unanswered goals before the Blue Devils cut the lead in the third period with a goal from Addy Langton, assisted by Buckberger. Central Michigan secured the win with a final power-play goal. Blue Devils goalie Rachel Hart was busier in the second match, recording 21 saves on 25 shots. Lawrence Tech's power play struggled again, going 0 for 4 in the loss.

The Blue Devils Womens Hockey team will be back in action on the 14th and 15th of November against Sault College, with both games taking place in Ontario.
