ALLENTOWN, Pa. — The Lawrence Tech University Women's Team claimed a major Tier 1 victory over the weekend, finishing 1st out of 5 teams at the Roto Grip Keystone Quaker Classic, held December 19–20 at Haja Rose Bowl.
The Blue Devils led the field from start to finish. After Day 1, they held a 94-pin advantage heading into Day 2's 20 Baker games. The team stayed consistent and extended the lead to 113 pins by the end, finishing with 8,231 total pins, ahead of Aquinas (8,118) and Indiana Tech (7,915).
Four Blue Devils finished in the top 10 individually. Sophomore
Samantha Czerw (Spencerport, N.Y.) led LTU with a 3rd place finish, averaging 191.4, followed closely by junior
Kaelynn Weber (Tonawanda, N.Y.) in 4th at 191.0. Senior
Amelia Adams (St. Louis, Mo.) placed 6th with a 184.2 average, and junior
Brooke Kochel (Murphysboro, Ill.) landed 9th, averaging 200.25 across four games.
