SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - In an exhilarating display of skill and teamwork, Lawrence Tech University's women's lacrosse team captured their first victory of the season on February 28, 2025, outscoring Georgetown Tigers with a decisive final score of 16-10 after a tied halftime. The match took place at their home ground in Southfield, Mich.
The first half saw an evenly matched game with both teams tying at 5-5. However, the Blue Devils, led by standout performances from senior
Sydney Robinson and freshman
Audrey Spencer, surged ahead in the second half. Robinson, who tallied a total of 5 goals and 4 assists, played a key role throughout the game, while Spencer scored the game-winning goal in the third period, totaling 4 goals herself.
