Lawrence Tech Baseball Splits Wednesday Doubleheader

UTICA, Mich. - In a Wednesday afternoon doubleheader showcase, the Lawrence Tech University Blue Devils defeated Aquinas College in game one with a score of 6-1 and in game two, the Blue Devils were defeated by Aquinas with a final score of 12-7 on March 26th, 2025, in Utica, Michigan.

In game one, the Blue Devils took advantage of the game with a standout 3-run inning in the 4th, which cemented their lead and set the tone for the remainder of the contest. In terms of individual performances, Joel Stirnemann was a highlight with three significant hits, contributing majorly to the team's offensive output. On the pitching side, Braden Lewis made a notable impact, recording four strikeouts in his role as the starting pitcher.

Run contributions were well-distributed among the team. Aside from Stirnemann, key runs were scored by Justin Baird, Logan Walker, D'Andrea Parnell, Evan McIntyre, and Brady Rogers, showcasing the depth of the team's batting lineup.
