Blue Devils XC has Impressive Showing at Lansing CC Invitaitonal

LANSING, Mich. - The Blue Devils mens and womens cross country teams were both in action at the Lansing CC Invitational in Lansing, Mich. today. The men finished in 3rd of 11 competing schools, while the women finished in 5th of 8 competing schools. 

Graeson Lawrence led the way for the Blue Devils mens team in this meet, finishing the 5k in 27:17.1, good enough for 17th place on the individual leaderboard. Aiden Brzezinski and Arline Lile were not far behind, finishing in 27th and 28th respectively. Rounding out the top 5 Blue Devil performers were Marek Unger (34th) and Alex Eplin (37th). 

The womens team was led by Clara Mackey, who finished at an impressive 5th place overall on the individual leaderboard with a time of 20:10.6, scoring just 5 points for the Blue Devils. Eden Brewer had an impressive showing as well, finishing just outside of the top 25 at 27th place. Rounding out the Blue Devils top runners were Emily Sell (35th), Adison Cooke (40th), and Caleigh Bovensiep (44th). 

The Blue Devils XC teams will both be back in action on September 26th in Adrian, Mich. at the Siena Heights Invite, where they will look to build on their already rising momentum as both teams get healthier.
