SLYVANIA, Ohio. - In a closely contested WHAC Conference basketball game, the men's basketball team faced a tough match against the Lourdes University at Lourdes, ending with a narrow 69-65 defeat.
The game kicked off with Lourdes quickly establishing dominance, taking an early 6-0 lead. Notably, J'Siah Jefferson from Lourdes scored the opening points with a jumper. Despite a spirited attempt at a comeback, Lawrence Tech trailed 28-20 at halftime. Lourdes maintained control throughout the first period, and their largest lead extended to 8 points.
