Blue Devils Have A Historic Performance At WHAC Conference Championships!

FORT WAYNE, Mich. - Lawrence Tech turned in a historic performance at the WHAC Conference Championship in Fort Wayne, Indiana, as the Blue Devils posted the highest point totals in program history for both the men's and women's teams. Lawrence Tech also produced multiple conference champions and runner-up finishes in a meet that added another significant chapter to the program's season.

The Blue Devils' weekend was defined by depth and momentum across the roster. Both teams set new scoring standards while stacking strong finishes throughout the meet. Lawrence Tech also broke eight school records over the course of the championship, underscoring how often the Blue Devils converted high-pressure conference competition into program-best marks.

The conference meet also brought several standout individual efforts, including winning performances and runner-up results that helped fuel the record team scoring. The Blue Devils delivered the kind of scoring punch needed to reshape the program record book. Those results, combined with the school-record total of points on both sides, gave Lawrence Tech one of its strongest conference championship showings.

Beyond the conference standings, the meet carried national significance for Lawrence Tech. The Blue Devils saw strong improvements on the national front, a sign that several performances may strengthen the program's positioning heading deeper into the postseason stretch. The broader impact made the WHAC championship more than a one-weekend success, as the results could continue to matter beyond the conference meet itself.

The combination of conference titles, runner-up finishes, school records and all-time program scoring marks gave Lawrence Tech a clear statement performance at the championship. The Blue Devils will look to carry that momentum into their next meet, the Len Paddock Open on May 8.
