ADRIAN, Mich. — A dominant three-goal second half powered the Bulldogs past the Blue Devils for a 4-1 victory. Despite creating constant offensive pressure and out shooting Adrian 20 to 17 overall, Lawrence Tech was unable to fully break through.
Lawrence Tech struck first in the 19th minute after a foul inside the box awarded them a penalty kick, which Pedro Roses put away to give the Blue Devils an early 1-0 advantage. Adrian responded in the 35th minute with an unassisted equalizer, leveling the match at 1-1 heading into the halftime break.
The Bulldogs seized complete control early in the second period, striking twice. The Blue Devils continued to push late into the second half, generating several quality chances through Alexander Prenkocevic, Oli Pittham, and Damian Addai, but the margin stayed intact. On the defensive end for Lawrence Tech, Noa Benallegue finished the match with three saves.
