HILTON HEAD, SC-The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University women's lacrosse team dominated over D3 Alfred College (NY) in a 15-1 on a cloudy Monday afternoon in at Hilton Head Preparatory School in Hilton Head, SC.

Everyone got in on the action for the Blue Devils with the top scorer Anna Gagnon (SO/Grand Haven, Mich.) hitting four into the back of the net while Ashley Sherry (FR/Savage, Minn.) finished with three goals. Maddie Barnewold (JR/Oxford, Mich.) and Ashley Collins (SR/Hartland, MI) both had two goals. Finally, Gabi Larkin (SO/South Lyon, Mich.), Jordan Messing (JR/Bruce Twp., Mich.), Abby Barnewold (FR/Lake Orion, Mich.), and Bella Crispino (SR/Ann Arbor, MI) all added a goal each.

Although the defense didn't see a lot of action, new Goalie Dorie Coggin (FR/Hamilton, Ohio) went two-for-2 in saves.

Captain Marci Schaeffer (SR/Eaton Rapids, Mich.) had this to say about today's game, "The team effort today was great. It is exciting to get everyone in the game and everyone involved. It is fulfilling to see the growth of my teammates. Today we were able to work some kinks out with our transition which is one area of the game we need to work on especially with our upcoming games."

As the Blue Devils continue their Spring Break trip, they travel to Savannah, Georgia taking on Ave Maria on Wednesday, March 5.
