GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.— (RV) The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University women's bowling team competed in the WHAC Jamboree #2 on Saturday, November 9th. As a team, the Blue Devils finished 3rd out of 13 teams who competed in the match. They had three bowlers finish inside the top 10, including a top three finisher.
To start the competition, each bowler would roll four individual games to determine the individual winner. Treasa Rost led all Blue Devils with a total of 823, with her single game high score being 233 in game four. Rost's total was good enough for 3rd place overall. Bailey Gipson and Victoria Giardina rounded out the top ten for the individuals. Gipson finished 9th with a total of 780 and Giardina 10th with a total of 774.
As a team, the Blue Devils would finish in 3rd place after the rolling four regular games and four baker games. Their four regular game totals were 927-931-957-915 and their four baker game totals were 759-742-720-786. Their final total after all team competition was 6.737. The Blue Devils will be back on the lanes after Thanksgiving.
Their next schedule match is the National Collegiate Team Match Games that will run from November 30th to December 1st.
