JACKSON, Mich. — The Lawrence Tech women's bowling team launched the 2025–26 season with a strong effort, securing 3rd place at the WHAC #1 Jackson Open on Saturday, Sept. 27 at JAX 60.
The Blue Devils delivered consistent traditional scores of 894, 893, and 860, followed by Baker game totals of 755, 764, 671, and 693 to finish with 5,530 pins and a 178.39 team average.
Sophomore
Abigail Siekierski (Davison, Mich.) was LTU's top performer, finishing 7th overall in the field with a 587 series (146–214–227), highlighted by a strong 227 in her final game. Fellow sophomore
Amelia Lemanowicz (Mt. Arlington, N.J.) also cracked the top 10, rolling a 557 series (177–179–201). The LTU women's JV team added depth with a 4th place overall finish, giving the program a strong presence across both divisions.
Guided by Head Coach Jon Putti, the women's team starts the season on a positive note and will aim to climb even higher in upcoming WHAC competition. The Blue Devils return to action
October 4–5 at the Midwest Collegiate Championships (Tier 1).
