Men's Tennis Releases Schedule for Spring 2019; Kick Off Against Wayne State on February 6th

SOUTHFIELD, Mich.- The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University men's tennis team released its spring 2019 tournament schedule, which will consist of 10 matches and three tournaments.

The Blue Devils will open the season on the road against Wayne State (Mich.) University on February 6 at 2 p.m. Then, Lawrence Tech will host five matches the month that follows at the Franklin Athletic Club. LTU will face Grace (Mich.) College on February 15 at 1 p.m., Grand Valley State (Mich.) University on February 22 at noon, Lake Superior State (Mich.) University on March 2, Concordia (Mich.) University-Ann Arbor on March 5 at 11 a.m., and Indiana Tech on March 6 at 12:30 p.m. The matches against Concordia and Indiana Tech are part of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference schedule.

Lawrence Tech will then head to Hilton Head, S.C. to participate on the PTR Spring Tennisfest, where they will face off with Berry (Ga.) College on March 11 and Gettysburg (Pa.) College on March 12. The rivals for the games on March 13 and 14 are still TBD.

The Blue Devils will come back to Michigan to host three WHAC matches against Cleary (Mich.) University on March 20 at 12:30 p.m., Cornerstone (Mich.) University on March 23 at 5 p.m., and Aquinas (Mich.) College on March 30 at 5 p.m.

LTU will attend the IWU Wildcat Invitational Tournament in Marion, Ind. on April 5 and 6, where the team will play against (RV) Indiana Wesleyan University on April 5 at 4 p.m., 10th-ranked Cardinal Stritch (Wisc.) University on April 6 at 10 a.m., and Huntington (Ind.) University at 3 p.m.

Lawrence Tech will play their last match of the regular season against 16th-ranked University of Northwestern Ohio on April 13 at 4 p.m. in the Franklin Athletic Club. The 2019 WHAC Tournament's first round will be played on April 20, location and times are still TBD.
