SOUTHFIELD, Mich.- The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University men's tennis team will face off with Concordia (Mich.) University-Ann Arbor in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament action. The sides will meet for the first round of the tournament, which will be held in Southfield, Mich. at the Franklin Athletic Club. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
This is the second time the teams play thus far this season. On Tuesday, March 5, LTU defeated CUAA 9-0 in the Blue Devils' WHAC opener match.
Lawrence Tech (14-8, 3-2) finished the WHAC regular season seeded in third place, while Concordia (3-8, 0-5) finished sixth. The winner of this matchup will visit second-seeded Indiana Tech for the tournament's semifinals on Wednesday, April 24 in Fort Wayne, Ind.
On Saturday, April 13, the Blue Devils dropped a 5-0 decision to the University of Northwestern Ohio in WHAC action. UNOH took the conference regular season title with a 5-0 record. Last week, the Cardinals fell 9-0 to Cornerstone (Mich.) University.
