ADDISON, Ill. - The Lawrence Tech Women's Bowling team was back in action this past weekend at the Kegal Midwest Collegiate Classic Tournament. The previous tournament the women are coming off a strong weekend back in Decemeber, finishing 5th in the Roto Grip Keystone Quaker Classic Tournament. The team finished the Kegal Classic 20th out of 57 teams.
During the Kegal Midwest Classic Tournament, the Blue Devils were led by Treasa Rost with an impressive total score of 979 (197, 159, 204, 192, & 227). Her total was just enough to finish 26th out of 364 bowlers. LTU had two more bowlers who finished just outside of top 100. Bailey Gipson (103rd), and Sydney Clark (106th). At the conclusion of the tournament, the team ended with a final score of 8097.
The Blue Devils are back on the road again this weekend for another back-to-back tournament. This is a Mid-South Conference Tournament taking place in Cincinnati, Ohio. The women's team will look to take their momentum into the 2020 MSC Cincinnati Collegiate Classic, starting on January 25th through January 26th.
