Box Score CANTON, Ga. - The 5th ranked Lawrence Technological University women's team faced the other 5th spot in the nation, Reinhardt University and came out on top with a 22-8 domination of the Eagles.

HOW IT HAPPENED
LTU won the game as a team, fighting hard from the moment of the first draw. While Reinhardt grabbed the first two goals, Kady Waits, with assist from Gagnon scored the first goal at the 26 minute mark. RU still had the lead up 3-1. Yet, Gagnon scored back to back goals to tie up the game. Then, Ashley Sherry scored with assist from Gagnon. Only 30 seconds later, Abbey Smentowski grabbed a goal in a man up opportunity with assist from Gagnon. Reinhardt then only scored three more times in the first half, while LTU powered down the field for 13 goals to close the first half up 13-6.
The second half saw LTU open up scoring only 24 second in the game with Sherry find the back of the net. While the Eagles responded minutes later, LTU came back with a pair of goals from Gagnon, with one of them assisted from Larkin.Then, at the 19 mark, Reinhardt scored for the eighth and final time of the game. From there, LTU notched six more goals as they raced to down their tied in ranking foe, including scoring two goals on man up opportunities.
LTU now travels out of the peach state that is Georgia to head on over to South Carolina to face two more teams in their spring travels. First up for the Blue Devils is a game on Wednesday, March 11th against William Penn at 9:30 a.m..
